YTE-logo Walkabout is a 9-week health and wellness challenge that promotes regular exercise in social settings. It was designed eight years ago by Dr. Joy Butler (EDCP), and has been an annual event held every spring in the faculty. This year, teams of 5 participants each will monitor their steps and overall physical activity over a 9-week period, and engage in a virtual race around BC.The virtual race route will also take participants through dozens of BC’s school districts, where they can earn valuable race rewards by completing challenges while learning more about a dozens of school districts.Remember to visit the site often, and find out how your team can win prizes!
